Montessori Certification for the Infant Toddler Teacher

Why NMTC?

The Infant-Toddler Certification is NMTC's sole training focus.  As the largest and most rapidly growing program offering in Montessori education, the need for certified Montessori Infant-Toddler teachers grows with each new school year. The field is evolving and NMTC is dedicated to authentic, in-depth, and comprehsive preparation for Infant and Toddler teachers.

NMTC is hosted by The Springs, A Montessori School.  The Springs offers the only American Montessori Society accredited Montessori Infant class in Northern Virginia and is home to Northern Virginia's largest AMS accredited Toddler program.  What's more, the Infant class and at least three of the Toddler classes operate year round, offering NMTC's Adult Learners the unique opportunity to observe and learn in working Montessori Infant-Toddler environments.

In addition to the standard program requirements of an Infant-Toddler credential, NMTC includes a focused writing component to prepare teachers for the unique challenges of educational writing as well as an extensive focus on material making.  Original lessons are a crucial component of a successful Montessori Infant Toddler environment.  NMTC makes sure Adult Learners learn not just what to make, but how to do it well.
